Monitors are reviewed by independent consultants and labs across the
country, providing meaningful data to customers. In turn, end-users need
to know these pluses and minuses before making decisions about upgrading.
It is important that you realize that this information does NOT take into
account serviceability or life expectancy of the new monitors being tested.
Erv's service department never gets to service the perfect monitor, only
monitors needing repair, and has found no relationship between the highly
recommended monitor brands and real life serviceability. Some manufacturers
actually do not make replacement parts available to the end user. If you
require the serviceman's opinion on a particular monitor ASK
ERV and we will answer with our views based
on many years of experience.
